This is a plain-language draft covering how DoseCore is described elsewhere in this beta (local-first storage, optional account sync). It is not legal advice. Before publishing, confirm every claim below matches what the app actually does and collects, and consider a quick review by someone qualified if you plan to distribute widely or collect data from users in the EU/UK (GDPR) or California (CCPA).

DoseCore ("the app," "we," "us") is a peptide protocol tracking app built and operated by an independent developer. DoseCore is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any peptide manufacturer, supplier, or company. This policy explains what information DoseCore collects, how it's used, and the choices you have.

Data stored on your device

By default, DoseCore stores your data locally on your device: protocols, dose logs, vial inventory, health metrics, journal entries, and lab results you enter. This data is not sent anywhere unless you choose to create an account for sync (see below). If you delete the app, this data is deleted with it.

Data collected if you create an account

Creating an account is optional and is only needed if you want to sync your data across devices or keep a backup. If you create an account, we collect:

Your email address, used to authenticate you and for account-related communication (like the confirmation email you receive when signing up).
The same protocol, dose, inventory, health, and journal data described above, stored securely with our backend provider so it can sync across your devices.

We use a third-party backend service (Supabase) to host account and sync data. Supabase processes this data on our behalf and does not use it for its own purposes. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.

Photos

If you use the progress photo feature, those photos are stored the same way as other app data: locally by default, or synced to your account if you've created one. Photos are never shared publicly and are never accessed by us except as needed to provide customer support if you request it.

How your information is used

To provide the app's core features: tracking, calculations, reminders, and history.
To sync your data across your own devices, if you've created an account.
To respond to support requests you send us.

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell it to third parties.

Data retention and deletion

Local data stays on your device until you delete the app or clear its data. If you have an account, you can request deletion of your account and all associated synced data at any time by emailing dosecoreapp@gmail.com. We'll confirm once it's done.

Children's privacy

DoseCore is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll remove it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
